What is Cold Pressed Juice?

We all know the delicious taste of a fresh fruit & vegetable juice made right in front of you. But what is cold pressed juice & how does that differ fromyour juices made at home?

The term “cold pressed” has nothing to do with the actual temperature of the juice. “Cold pressed” refers to the process in which the fruits & vegetables are used to make juice. Cold pressed juice is made with a special type of juicer that pushes fresh produce through a blade, mashes it into pulp, & then collects the pulp into a cheesecloth-like bag. A hydraulic press then extracts the juice from the pulp while being filtered through the cheesecloth-like bag.

Since the cold pressed juicer presses the produce to extract the juice, there is NO HEAT used in the entire process! Cold pressed juice protects & preserves the nutrients while giving the juices a shelf life of 3-4 days. That means you still get ALL the healthy benefits of the fruits & veggies. You get 100% of the vitamins, minerals, enzymes, & nutrients when you drink COLD PRESSED JUICE!

I’ll drink to that! 😃
